For those of you that own land in Compass Lake In The Hills and you are wondering what the value of your vacant land in the community is going for in todays market.

The average selling price for lots at this time in Compass lake are between $ 8,000.00 and $ 13,000.00 for properties that are on the dirt/clay roads.

Now if you happen to own land on a paved road in the compass lake community then they would be worth about $3,000 - $5,000 more on average.

As most of you are fully aware this year so far has been tough for everyone no matter what line of work you are in, well for most people overall. We all hope that the economy starts to pick up soon so we can forget these last couple of years and get on with our life's.

Its October already.

I just wanted to welcome everyone to my Compass Lake In The Hills website. We are already in October 2008 which sounds crazy but it is really this time of the year.

As for whats going on in the Compass lake in the hills community there has not really been much going on at all in regards to sales in our community so far this year. For the total number of sales including homes and vacant land in 2008 there have only been 16 properties sold this year. It has been a very slow year so far and its expected until sometime next year.

I will try to keep everyone updated as I get a chance in between jobs in this crazy market and slow times that we are going through.
